How Does Hoodia and Green Tea Work?

Hoodia is a diet supplement which induces suppression of appetite. Usually while eating the glucose levels in your blood rises and after reaching a certain level it signals the brain that the stomach is now full so stop eating.

Hoodia simply replicates the effect of rising glucose in the body signaling the brain that there is no need to eat as the stomach is full. The desire to eat is virtually killed by Hoodia. Research shows that the chemical composition of Hoodia is at least 10000 times stronger compared to the glucose which signals the brain to stop eating. Green Tea is a stimulant for increasing the BMR or the body metabolism rate. Green Tea extract has the capacity of increasing BMR by almost 4% within a short span of time. An increased BMR requires extra energy. This energy has to come from somewhere, either external sources from food intake or by conversion of the stored fat into energy by the body. If we starve the body of external source of energy, the body will start meeting its requirement of energy from the stored fat. Green Tea intensifies the fat oxidation levels and increases the rate of burning calories.

Green Tea controls the level of glucose in the body. The chemicals of Green Tea force the glucose into the fat cells to break them down.

A combination of Hoodia with Green Tea works as a double edged sword to fight weight gain. However you must understand the side effects of both, before you jump into the bandwagon of weight loss using Hoodia and Green Tea. Green Tea contains a lot of caffeine and if you are allergic to caffeine just stick to plain Hoodia rather than going for the combination. Hoodia regulates your appetite while Green Tea controls your blood sugar and increases your BMR. A combination of these two is a deadly weapon to fight weight loss .

Last but not the least; consult your doctor before taking any of these.
